Long COVID

Knowledgeable about ME/CFS and Long Covid, but limited in how they can help

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID
Symptoms Treated: ME/CFS - Moderate improvement
Last appointment: 1+ years ago

Over the course of a year and a half we tried low dose naltrexone, low dose abilify and different antihistamines. None worked. I found his staff to be dismissive and he can be patronizing. At the time of visits ~2023 they were not helpful is prescribing any other treatment plans or doing work ups for structural abnormalities. Also the wait time was ~1 year, but with cancellations and if you follow up with the office it seems to be much sooner.

Knowledgeable about MCAS

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID
Symptoms Treated: Allergies - Better long time
Last appointment: Within the last 6 months

Dr. Amirzadeh is knowledgeable in the treatment and progressive treatment for MCAS. He is very direct and explains what each medication does. The one item of note it took awhile to convince his staff I had bad GI side effects from cetirizine.

Drastically increased my baseline

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID
Symptoms Treated: Itchy Ear Canal - Major improvement

I have chronic ear infections from long covid. Antibiotics, in general, make me feel better. This ten day course took my baseline from being unable to hold my head up to being able to take walks outside.

Night terrors and wired during the day

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID
Symptoms Treated: Chronic Fatigue - Worse short time

This drug gave me night terrors and made me very wired during the day. I tried 0.5mg a day for about a week, two separate times months apart. For me, saw no noticeable benefit just unwanted sixe effects.
