Patients Say

Positives

  • Patients who get the most from inhalers usually describe asthma-like tightness, wheeze, or airway irritation rather than pure air hunger, and some say albuterol gives clear short-term relief. Reddit.

Negatives

  • Some patients say inhalers do almost nothing for dysautonomia-style breathlessness and sometimes add jitters, palpitations, or throat irritation on top of the original problem. Reddit.

Hurdles & Side Effects

  • The practical divide is rescue versus maintenance inhalers, plus spacer technique, rinsing after steroid inhalers, and deciding whether the pattern is really bronchospasm before escalating treatment. Reddit.

Made a big difference

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID
Symptoms Treated: Fatigue - Better short time Dizziness - Better short time Shortness of Breath - Better short time
Side Effects Experienced: None

I was unable to do any form of cardio exercise and would struggle a lot to play tennis. I was improving very slowly and the inhaler made a big difference. Use before I exercise.
