One of the best doctors I've had

Symptoms Treated: Long COVID - Complete recovery
Last appointment: Within the last 6 months

Dr. Hinnant is probably one of the best doctors I've ever had. She is really and truly invested in healing her patients. She understands Long Covid, the research, how it interacts with other conditions (especially autoimmune ones), and prescribes a spectrum of medicines and supplements that span the holistic-to-allopathic spectrum. She will do whatever it takes to get your treatment plan tweaked, refined, and precise for you. She also has a wonderful and compassionate bedside manner.

Helpful and nice doctor

Symptoms Treated: MCAS Chronic Fatigue Exercise Intolerance
Last appointment: Within the last 6 months

Dr Hinnant is very understanding and empathetic. She seems to keep up with Long Covid research and is quite knowledgeable about ME CFS, dysautonomia, MCAS. She prescribed mast cell stabilizers, low dose naltrexone, listened to and discussed other options mentioned in the research.

She responds to messages almost instantly

Symptoms Treated: PEM (Post Exertional Malaise) Pain Heart Palpitations Dysautonomia
Last appointment: Within the last 6 months

She's not going to be your PCP but she's been seeing a ton of LC patients since 2020 and is very good at trying to diagnose anything autoimmune or separate that might be going on. I don't have MCAS but I know she has experience with it. She's very aware of PEM and considerate when it comes to her suggestions. The only drawback is how long it takes to get an appointment with her - be prepared to wait 6 months for the first appointment and 3-4 months for each follow up.
