MECFs practionner

Chronic Illnesses: ME/CFS
Symptoms Treated: PEM (Post Exertional Malaise) - Worse short time - 1-7 days
Last appointment: 6-12 months ago

It’s and MECFS doctor, very well known here. He is often recommanded for LC patients but in reality, he diagnoses every LC patient with MECFS, even those without PEM. He gives everybody the same list of supplements. Can miss some important risks in sufferers.

Proactive and helpful.

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID ME/CFS MCAS
Symptoms Treated: Air Hunger - Major improvement - 1+ year
Last appointment: 1+ years ago

I have seen him twice. He has a very good understanding of how LC hypersensitivity works and is genuinely the doctor who’s had the best success rate with giving me medication I can actually take. He’s also the only one I’ve seen who actually takes pacing seriously. It does seem like he’s majorly busy and isn’t always the most tactful though.

Not great

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID

Thinks LC is something it's not. Will prescribe some medication which may be helpful for you but it certainly isn't targeted treatment based on specific LC pathology. Will write you medical letters eg for disability applications- but filled with misleading claims and inaccuracies. Awful that this is the best we can get 7 years in.

One of the few French Professionals up to date with LC science

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID

One of the only French drs who is up to date with long covid research; takes the necessary time with each patient. He gives one a proper diagnosis and prescribes empirically tried & tested treatments (LDN ; etc). He has also been part of a Belgian research team trialling an antiviral + monoclonal on people with LC ; with encouraging results.

Very helpful, very knowledgeable

I have seen him twice. He seems to be very knowledgeable about LC, ME/CFS & MCAS, he prescribed me very pertinent treatment and gave me very good advice about pacing both times. He has also kept up with me through emails after the consultation.

Ask good questions and provides good guidance

Asked very accurate questions and prescribed medicine that helped reduce the intensity of some of my symptoms. Took into account the info I gave him to provide me personalized advice. Was reactive in taking into account further evolution of my symptoms.
