Cash grab
I had a visit with one of Casey Kelly’s assistants. I called to see Casey Kelly and they said “Magda is one of her assistants and they meet every day to discuss patients, would you like to see her instead?” Casey Kelly was booked up and farther away so I agreed. Since I was led to believe by this site and their association that Magda would be covid conscious, I was let down by our initial meeting and subsequent interactions with the rest of their staff. A red flag that I should have heeded sooner was when Magda made comments about my masking. She doesn’t believe in masking nor understands its benefits and the science behind it clearly. If I’m in your office because covid ruined my life and you make comments about masking and how it does more harm than good, what kind of physician are you? Then I got bloodwork done and the results were typically normal except the EBV numbers were very high. On the results page it said in these instances to test again in 10-14 days. However, Magda never brought it up. I caught it about a week later. When I asked about this, she said we will discuss it in our next meeting. The $475 feet for the first visit wasn’t worth it, and as I was checking out they tried to seek me $200 worth of supplements. Then they charged me $100 for not canceling an appt soon enough, when I cancelled on a Sunday for a Tuesday appt. They said they need 48 business hours. 2 days is 2 days if something comes up. Most of these specialist clinics are a cash grab and would tell anyone to stick with Covid clinics at northwestern etc that take insurance. They may not be able to offer much help, either. But these people just want your money.
