Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's announcement describes Dr. Aaron Friedberg as an internal medicine physician and assistant professor who serves as one of five internal medicine physicians leading the clinical team at the Post-COVID Recovery Program. The program, the first multidisciplinary clinic of its kind in central Ohio, provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with COVID-19 symptoms lasting longer than four weeks, including fatigue, body aches, shortness of breath, persistent cough, brain fog, and loss of taste and smell. The clinic brings together specialists in pulmonology, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiology, neurology, rheumatology, physical and occupational therapy, sleep medicine, and psychiatry.
